THE GARRYS:

The Garrys are a trio of sisters from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who play chilled out, surf garage doom-wop. Their harmonies are dreamy and precise, and their instrumentation stays true to the likes of Dick Dale and early Beatles. If the Black Lips went on a date with the Shangri-Las, they would eat ice cream sandwiches and dance to the Garrys. Like father, like daughter(s). Their 2nd full length album, "Surf Manitou" was released on May 19th, 2017 via Grey Records.

THE BUREAU:
The Bureau have been bringing their collaborative hip-hop to Saskatchewan since the summer of 2013 when they began a summer concert series that grew into a popular 2 year Flip residency. Every other week The Bureau improvised jazzy boom-bap, reinterpreted hip-hop classics, and performed high energy crossover songs in the vein of The Roots live show, all while featuring established artists or up-and-coming talents (Def3, Factor, Stoop Kids, Jocelyn Alice, Pimpton) to a raucous crowd. After years of successful live shows and festival performances, The Bureau are ready to squeeze all the magic of their live performance onto the internet and make waves in Canadian hip-hop, all from their home base of Regina, Saskatchewan.

BASIC NATURE:

Winnipeg’s Basic Nature is an ethereal indie rock band comprised of Lizzy Burt on lead vocals and electric guitar, and Claire Bones on backing vocals and percussion. The prairiegaze songstresses have been compared to the messy-haired, 90s, lo-fi haze of Lush, The Cranberries, and Sharon Van Etten. Their six-track 2015 debut EP, Circle and Lines, drew inspiration from Slowdive’s Souvlaki. Ride The Tempo says the album is an “impeccable set” with serene vocals and fuzzy, slowburn guitars and echoing, haunting tracks. The duo is currently working on a new album to be released this year.
THE AVULSIONS:

The Avulsions tightly-wound art rock is constructed from isolation and paranoia, conveying an urgency inherited from the demise of punk-rock and its call to action. However, rather than be constrained by nostalgia, the band experiments with traditional instrumentation, electronics, production, and structure. In late 2015, the band began documenting their efforts at their home studio in Saskatoon, allowing them to carefully execute their vision on record. Their self-titled debut is due out fall 2017.
THE STEVES:

Regina garage-punk band The Steves play simple pop songs with uncomfortable urgency. They were brought together by Piper Burns who had grown tired of playing drums to other peoples songs and embarked on writing his own. The result is straight forward pounding rhythms and loud guitars. They take their cues from bands such as The Modern Lovers and Jay Reatard. Since their formation the band has released two double videos and an EP. Their debut album, "WEAKMAN" was recorded with Chris Dimas (Surf Dads) and is set to be released on Sweety Pie Records/Grind Central Records on September 9th, 2017. It's their most visceral and accurate portrayal to date. The Steves have been steadily growing a following across the prairie provinces and are excited to begin touring elsewhere across the country in the coming year.
SUMMERING:

The band consists of Paul Stewart(vocals, guitar), Matt Durie (guitar), Evan Hardy (guitar), Ryan Bekolay (bass), and Justin Devries (drums).
MELTED MIRROR:

Like traversing a dark metropolis to a soundtrack of buzzing electronics, crystalline synth and morose vocal delivery, Melted Mirror take the most stylized elements of a late night and carry them through to the early morning. As much related to chrome as they are to lush roses, Melted Mirror put the pomp back in post-punk.
